The CareerSource Brevard is a private, non-profit organization that supports the State of Florida workforce initiatives. CareerSource Brevard is a facilitator and catalyst for workforce development services that are responsive to the employment needs of Brevard County.

Mr. Mack’s nomination was confirmed on November 17, 2015 by the CSB Board of Directors. His nomination is currently with the Brevard County Commissioners for Legislative approval.

As a board member, Mr. Mack will be legally responsible for fiscal oversight, ensuring the organization is well managed, partnering with local elected officials, assisting in creating the organization’s identity, communicating and promoting the organization’s mission and goals, and providing industry knowledge and insight. Mr. Mack will also a member of the E3 committee.

Saalex is excited to have Mr. Mack play a part in planning and making a difference for all employment seekers in Brevard County. Mr. Mack is currently a Board of Directors member of the United Way of Ventura and Boys and Girls Club of Oxnard. He also contributes annually to California State University, Channel Islands and California State University, San Bernardino. (Saalex) held a Ribbon Cutting and Open House Celebratory Event at our new office at 1006 Pathfinder Way, Rockledge, Florida on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 6:30PM Eastern Time. Saalex welcomed all interested businesses and community members to experience what it has to offer to the workforce and community and had over 160 attendees at this event. Saalex held a “Tips for Charity” mini-event and has received a total amount of $270.00 to donate to Promise, a charity in Brevard County.

Saalex was blessed to have the City of Rockledge Mayor Tom Price, Commissioner Jim Barfield, Commissioner Robin Fisher, EDC Chairman Debbie Goode, and Saalex President/CEO, Travis Mack speak at our ribbon cutting ceremony. We thank the City of Rockledge for allowing this our special event to happen!

Camarillo, California – On August 5, 2015, California’s 26th congressional district United States Representative, Julia Brownley, visited Saalex’s Corporate Office as a part of her “Congress at Your Company” campaign. The purpose of the event is to highlight different companies and industries in the 26th district. Her campaign group is specifically focusing on veteran-owned businesses throughout the region and they considered Saalex Solutions, Inc. to be an excellent business to highlight.

Congresswoman Brownley is currently on the Committee of Transportation and Infrastructure and Committee of Veterans’ Affairs. Since being elected to Congress, and serving as the ranking member on the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health, she has been fighting to ensure that Ventura County’s veterans receive quality care in a timely manner. Within the past month, she has reached out to the Veterans’ Affairs to address serious allegations of improper handling of veterans’ claims, passed the Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act (H.R. 2915) through the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee, and incorporated the Veteran Continuity of Care Act (H.R 2974) into H.R 3236.
