Rockledge, FL and Camarillo, CA (Dec. 10, 2018) — Saalex Corporation doing business as Saalex Solutions has been awarded the Navy Seaport Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support services and program management support services.

The Navy awarded multiple-award contracts (MACs) to businesses in locations across 46 of the 50 United States under the SeaPort-NxG contract vehicle. The government estimates approximately $5 billion of services per year will be procured through awards to special small business set-asides including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) such as Saalex Solutions.

He has founded and co-founded several companies in the areas of Information Technology, C4ISR, Cyber Security, IoT, Mobile Health (mHealth) and a non-profit supporting veterans severely affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

A Navy Veteran, Mr. Parente encompasses a deep relationship with the Department of the Navy and extends throughout the defense community within San Diego and across the US.

As a member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and Chairman for the Department of the Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Conference, Mr. Parente provides leadership, direction and mentorship to the Chapter and its members while serving SPAWAR, the Department of the Navy Office of Small Business and thousands of small, medium and large defense contractors worldwide.

Originally from the Midwest, Mr. Parente was transplanted to sunny San Diego as a result of his first Navy orders to serve on the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63).

Rockledge, FL (Oct. 29, 2018) — Saalex Solutions, Inc., an Engineering and Information Technology Services company, will participate in the first annual Space Coast Games on Saturday, Nov. 3 at NASA’s Kennedy Athletic, Recreation & Social (KARS) Park near Kennedy Space Center. The Boeing Company is the primary host of the Games with support from NASA. Saalex is part of NASA’s Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS) contractor team, joining employees from a.i. solutions, Perspecta, and NASA.

Team ELVIS players and volunteers will compete with other aerospace industry teams in a variety of games including Kickball, Relay Race, Cornhole, Dodgeball, Tug of War, Trashcan Pong and Ultimate Frisbee. More information about the Games is at: https://www.facebook.com/spacecoastgames
