As Controller, Melissa Haverstock is responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions. With over 25 years of diverse experience driving financial management initiatives, Melissa brings a unique blend of expertise spanning government contracting, manufacturing, and consulting. Prior to starting with Saalex, she spent 3 years as a Director of Finance for a small Department of Defense contractor. Prior to that, she spent 11 years in Big 4 Consulting, focusing on a combination of State, Local and Higher Education clients and Defense, Security, and Justice clients. She has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College, a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Messiah College, a Master’s Certificate in Program Management from George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration from Elizabethtown College. She maintains licenses for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
