Travis Mack - President / CEO

Travis Mack

Mr. Mack provides overall leadership and direction for Saalex, and provides executive oversight and guidance for the company's strategic growth and tactical operational initiatives. His previous experience includes multi-year service in the U.S. Navy and Senior Technology management positions with, and Modis IT Consulting. Mr. Mack holds a B.S. in Business Management and an Honorary Doctorates Degree in Business from Webber International University. He has in-depth expertise in the software applications discipline and Defense acquisition contracting. Travis has completed the Senior Executive Management Program, Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. The Junior Executive Management Program, Clark Atlanta University, and is a graduate of the USC Marshall School of Business Executive Leadership Program and is a certified Six Sigma greenbelt. Mr. Mack is a member of Southern California Aerospace Professionals (SCAPR) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). Travis sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club for Oxnard and Port Hueneme, the Board of Directors for The United Way of Ventura County, and the Brevard Workforce Development Board.


Earl Jones - Board of Directors Member

Earl Jones

Earl Jones brings over forty-two years of experience in the management, development and operation of space and communications ground systems. His twenty-two (22) year career at TRW (now Northrop Grumman) included successful acquisition of new space ground system programs as Business Area Manager for Space Command & Control and Telecommunications Systems. He also distinguished himself as a superb Program Manager including such programs as the Consolidated Space Operations Center (CSOC) located in Colorado Springs, CO, the Space-Based Infrared (SBIRS) Ground System Pre-EMD, The Follow-On Early Warning System (FEWS) Ground Segment, and the Launch and Network Control Equipment (LANCE) Program. During his career in the United States Air Force, he was responsible for ground system developments for such programs as the Space Shuttle Ground Processing at Vandenberg AFB, CA, Inertial Upper Stage (IUS) Processing at Cape Canaveral, FL, and Long-Haul Telecommunications Centers throughout the Pacific. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Tuskegee University and a Master of Urban Planning from Syracuse University.


Karl T. Gould - Board of Directors Member

Karl Gould

Karl Gould provides his thirty-five (35) years of experience in the analysis, simulation, development, text, acquisition, and integration of high-value weapons and surveillance/radar systems and twenty years of experience in technical/program management and business development. He is a recognized expert in the areas of radar engineering and applications, missile warning, space surveillance, and ballistic missile defense (BMD); and is an author, lecturer, and instructor in radar engineering, BMD, and systems management. Mr. Gould worked in his early professional career with TRW and is a former Vice President of Titan Systems. During his U.S. Air Force tenure, his assignments included space communications and test range instrumentation program development, implementation, and management. Karl has extensive experience with U.S. ICBM development, and in space systems to include: SGLS, DSP, and SBIRS. Mr. Gould holds a B.S. in Military Science from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and an M.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois.


John R. Hancock - Board of Directors Member

John Hancock

Mr. Hancock has over 40 years experience as a professional security officer in all security disciplines on both the corporate and government side and is a respected subject matter expert in the field of national security. Mr. Hancock is a former career security and counterintelligence executive with the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service receiving five Meritorious and Superior Awards for serving with distinction. While with the Department of State, he managed the security programs for the Moscow and Beijing new Embassy projects that involved personnel, classification management, physical, industrial, operations security, information technology, counterintelligence, logistics, transit, and internal security for both domestic and overseas applications. In carrying out those responsibilities, Mr. Hancock chaired an interagency group of policy makers. He also was appointed as the Department of State’s senior staff representative to the Congressional Commission on Protecting and Reducing Government Secrecy, and the Presidential Review Directive Task Force in developing the Executive Order governing the safeguarding of national security information. During his career, Mr. Hancock also served in the Executive Office of the President, White House Office, providing advice and consultation regarding the accessing and control of national security information within the White House. He also served the Department of Defense as an Assistant Director of the Defense Investigative Service, managing all Industrial Security Field Management Operations.

Mr. Hancock has consulted to the private sector as a national security expert providing project management services to the Department of State Embassy Task Group, as a Special Advisor at the inception of the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization (Star Wars), and as an advisor to the Personnel Security Research Center. Mr. Hancock currently serves as a Director for Saalex Solutions and also as an outside Director for a company in Washington, DC in compliance with a Special Security Agreement. Mr. Hancock resides in the Phoenix, AZ area with his wife, three grown children and grandchildren.


Randall Wheeler - Director of Finance

Randall Wheeler

Randall Wheeler, Certified Management Accountant, is Saalex's Director of Finance. Prior to starting with Saalex Solutions in 2004, Randall spent 15 years as a Controller in large public companies including with Department of Defense contractors. Randall has been named to the Pacific Coast Business Times’ annual list of Who’s Who in CFOs, Controllers, and Financial Executives for the last 5 consecutive years. He graduated from Portland State University in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration & Accounting. Randall is a member of the Rotary Club of Moorpark and served as President of the club in 09/10.



Aaron Cudnohufsky - Director of Operations

Aaron Cudnohufsky

Mr. Cudnohufsky has served over 28 years as an active duty Naval Officer. His Navy experience includes Aviation Command at sea of a fighter squadron (VF-31), Executive Assistant for Director Navy Staff, Commanding Officer of the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Hawaii, and Military Director of the NAVAIR ranges. He is a member of the Navy Acquisition Corps and is DAU qualified level III in Program Management, Test & Evaluation, and SPRDE-System Engineering. He has flown numerous combat missions in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and other operational deployments.

Mr. Cudnohufsky’s last 5 ½ years of his Navy career has focused on the Research, Development, Acquisition, Test, and Evaluation of Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, U.S. Defense Agencies and Foreign Allied programs. Mr Cudnohufsky’s many military decorations and awards include the Legion of Merit (2 awards), Defense Meritorious Service medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), and Strike/Flight Air medals (4 awards). He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and earned a Masters degree from the Naval War College.


Lisa Marmion - Director of Administration, Human Resources, and Facilities Manager

Lisa Cortes

Lisa Cortes joined Saalex Solutions, Inc. in 2005 after nearly 30 years supporting the federal government arena. Since coming to Saalex, she has a proven ability to foster relationships with Human Resources, IT. Operations, Government Security, Building Operations, and Senior Executives; eventually earning her spot as Director of Administration with Saalex Solutions.

Before joining Saalex in 2005, Lisa volunteered full time, for several years for the American Red Cross, in addition to her involvement with a diverse range of organizations, including the USO, Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society, and the United Way, and the Boys & Girls Club where she now serves as an active member of the Board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. A great believer in contributing to the needs of her community, Lisa has been awarded and recognized for her passion towards the progress of her community. Another important aspect of her life is family (son & daughter-in-law both serving in the armed forces overseas and daughter, graduate in psychology) and her fervent beliefs in contributing to the needs of her community.
