Gerri Markota brings over 45 years of experience in program management and operations, with a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities of government contracting. Since joining Saalex in 2016, she has served in key leadership roles, including Program Manager for the ESS VI and Machine Shop contracts, supporting government initiatives in training range systems, hardware/software development, field engineering, logistics, and engineering services. As Executive Director of Program Operations, Ms. Markota leads capture efforts at China Lake and Point Mugu, with a focus on NAVAIR programs for NAWCWD and NAWCAD. She oversees the execution of multiple multi-million-dollar contracts supporting the Navy, Army, Air Force, and NASA—both CONUS and OCONUS—across areas such as test range operations, engineering and logistics services, cybersecurity, and IT services. Ms. Markota is also responsible for driving contract growth through increased staffing and is an active member of Saalex's Program Management Organization (PMO). She holds an MBA in Technology Management and a BS in Business Administration and Management.
