Founded in 1999 as a small business, Saalex was the vision of CEO and founder Travis Mack, a U.S. Navy veteran dedicated to supporting critical defense and space programs. Saalex quickly earned acclaim for technical excellence, collaborative teamwork, and relentless commitment to customer missions.

Over the past 25 years, Saalex has rapidly expanded into a nationwide provider with more than 1,200 employees, mostly recently after a significant strategic acquisition. On January 24, 2024, Saalex acquired Spalding Consulting, a software and IT services firm supporting the U.S. Navy and other defense customers. The $75 million acquisition grew Saalex’s annual revenue to over $175 million and established an East Coast presence near key naval facilities.
