Saalex was awarded the Expeditionary Systems Evaluation Division (ESED) Test Operations Support Services (TOSS) contract. On this contract, Saalex will provide technical services related to logistics, test support, and test operations to the ESED Range Systems Engineering Department (RS40), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Detachment Fallbrook. The contract was awarded to Saalex on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

ESED is a component of NSWC Corona Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The primary place of performance is located at the engineering complex aboard the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, Detachment Fallbrook, in Fallbrook, California. ESED performs full spectrum life cycle engineering and test support to verify the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of Expeditionary and Special Warfare systems. The primary function of ESED is to provide In-Service Engineering and Test and Evaluation for the Department of Defense (DoD). As part of this function, ESED supports test execution operations at multiple DoD ranges across the United States.
