The CareerSource Brevard is a private, non-profit organization that supports the State of Florida workforce initiatives. It is one of Florida’s 24 Workforce Boards that has been established through the State of Florida legislation. CareerSource Brevard is a facilitator and catalyst for workforce development services that are responsive to the employment needs of Brevard County.

Mr. Mack’s nomination was confirmed on November 17, 2015 by the CSB Board of Directors. His nomination is currently with the Brevard County Commissioners for Legislative approval.

As a board member, Mr. Mack will be legally responsible for fiscal oversight, ensuring the organization is well managed, partnering with local elected officials, assisting in creating the organization’s identity, communicating and promoting the organization’s mission and goals, and providing industry knowledge and insight. Mr. Mack will also a member of the E3 committee.

(Saalex) held a Ribbon Cutting and Open House Celebratory Event at our new office at 1006 Pathfinder Way, Rockledge, Florida on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 6:30PM Eastern Time. Saalex welcomed all interested businesses and community members to experience what it has to offer to the workforce and community and had over 160 attendees at this event. Saalex held a “Tips for Charity” mini-event and has received a total amount of $270.00 to donate to Promise, a charity in Brevard County.

Saalex was blessed to have the City of Rockledge Mayor Tom Price, Commissioner Jim Barfield, Commissioner Robin Fisher, EDC Chairman Debbie Goode, and Saalex President/CEO, Travis Mack speak at our ribbon cutting ceremony. We thank the City of Rockledge for allowing this our special event to happen!
