Saalex Solutions Hires New Business Development Manager
Rockledge, FL and Camarillo, CA (Nov. 5, 2018) — Saalex Solutions, Inc., an Engineering and Information Technology Services company, has recently hired Michael Parente as Business Development Manager in San Diego, CA. Mr. Parente brings over 25 years of leadership, program management and business development experience in both public and private sectors. He has founded and co-founded several companies in the areas of Information Technology, C4ISR, Cyber Security, IoT, Mobile Health (mHealth) and a non-profit supporting veterans severely affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
A Navy Veteran, Mr. Parente encompasses a deep relationship with the Department of the Navy and extends throughout the defense community within San Diego and across the US.
As a member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and Chairman for the Department of the Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Conference, Mr. Parente provides leadership, direction and mentorship to the Chapter and its members while serving SPAWAR, the Department of the Navy Office of Small Business and thousands of small, medium and large defense contractors worldwide.
Originally from the Midwest, Mr. Parente was transplanted to sunny San Diego as a result of his first Navy orders to serve on the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63).
