Mr. Melendez formerly owned International Consulting Associates since 2009. His HR background has been in Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, Medical Device, Merchant Application Services, Airline Industries Food/Beverage, retail and entertainment organizations with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Melendez is a strategic and tactical HR and operations adviser, coach and mentor for all levels of organizations and a subject matter expert as an architect of HR structures from start-ups, reorganizations, acquisitions and divestitures which includes multi-site, multi-state and international locations. He holds an MA in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior and a BA in Business Management.

Susanne Kuracz, Director of Finance and the Program Management Office. She has been with Saalex for over six (6) years and has greatly contributed to over $650 million dollars in proposal wins for the company. Prior to being appointed Director of Proposals, Ms. Chap served in various proposal and marketing positions and executed many functions from the ground up, where she provided strong organization, team-building, and great attention-to-detail. Ms. Chap holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from UCLA with an emphasis on American Politics. She volunteers at her local Operation Gratitude monthly assembly days.

Jaime Dempsey, Director of Contracts. Jaime Dempsey has been with Saalex for 1.5 years as the Contracts Manager, and more than 18 years in the federal contracting field.  Ms. Dempsey is responsible for the negotiation and administration of all contracts and subcontracts, in addition to many other responsibilities related to contracting. Prior to joining Saalex, she was a Contracting Officer at NASA for 17 years.  At NASA Ms. Dempsey worked on the Space Shuttle Program, Commercial Crew Program and the Expendable Launch Vehicle Program.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Contract and Acquisition Management from Florida Institute of Technology.

The work will support the Navy Munitions Command Pacific CONUS West Division (NMCPAC CWD). Saalex will provide technical and support services at Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Seal Beach and NWS Fallbrook for the NMCPAC CWD mission of Fleet Ordnance Support (FOS).

Saalex’s contract services include administrative and inventory support, truck driving and heavy equipment operations, key custodianship and magazine access for NMCPAC CWD, USB and DET FB. Support specific to the Surface Launched Missiles (SLM) Division at USB includes support of the Standard Missile, Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM), Tomahawk Missile, and Vertical Launch systems material coordination, movement, and tracking. Support specific to the Air Launched Missiles (ALM) Division includes support of the Navy Sidewinder, Maverick, Hellfire, and Air Force Maverick material coordination, movement, and tracking.

Camarillo, CA (June 5, 2018) Saalex Solutions, Inc. has been awarded the Joint Range Technical Services II (J-Tech II) contract as a major sub-contractor under the prime contractor JT4, LLC, supporting the U.S. Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC). This win expands on the support Saalex has been providing on the J-Tech I contract and extends the relationship for another 15 years.

As a follow-on effort to the previous contract, Saalex will support JT4 at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake and Point Mugu ranges by providing technical expertise on J-Tech II for functions including operations, maintenance, sustainment, engineering and management services of the land and sea test and training ranges. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Telemetry Systems, Telecommunications Systems, Threat Systems, Computer Systems, Instrumentation Systems, Mission Control/Coordination, Technical Material Control, Data Analysis/Reports, Ancillary Mission Support, Test/Training Management and Engineering.

CAMARILLO, CA. (March 23, 2018) We’re pleased to announce that the Government/Saalex Telemetry Ground Systems Engineering Team was named Range Team of the Year by the National Range Complex for the FY 2017. The team, consisting of seven engineers, two specialists and one operations lead, includes Saalex employee, Joel Bossoletti, representing the company as Project Engineer.

Once a year, the NRC, AIR 5.2 honors a team for their contribution towards meeting the National Range Complex mission and goals. The selection for this award is based on three critical areas: customer focus, mission execution and mission support. The Telemetry Ground Systems Engineering Team exceeded in all of these areas by performing excellent technical engineering with customer-focused operations for their Pacific Missile Sea Range (PMSR) customer. This included zero hot wash items in FY 2017, ultimately increasing the Senior Range management’s confidence in their work. The team executed over $8.5M in system upgrades, repairs and maintenance, exceeding previous years. While undergoing the multiple system upgrades, major project execution support and CONOPS changes in FY17, the team successfully met the needs of its customers and increased PMSR’s future mission throughput and capability.
