Saalex to Support Naval Logistics IT Serving More Than 150,000 Fleet Users
Washington, DC (June 17, 2026) — Saalex Corporation, an Advanced Technology Systems Integrator for the aerospace, defense, and federal sectors, today announced that it has been selected as an awardee on the U.S. Navy’s Capability Modernization, Deployment, and Support (CMDS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC), a vehicle with a total ceiling value of $249.9 million across all awarded vendors.
Under the CMDS MAC, Saalex and other awarded vendors will support the Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Fleet Readiness Center’s requirement for Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) Integration and Support Services (LIIS). As an awardee, Saalex is eligible to compete for task orders that advance the modernization, deployment, and sustainment of the Navy’s logistics IT enterprise.
“This award reflects the trust the Navy places in Saalex to help modernize the systems that keep the fleet ready,” said Travis Mack, Chairman and CEO of Saalex Corporation. “Logistics IT is the connective tissue behind readiness, spanning maintenance, supply, and the platforms our Sailors and Marines depend on every day. Our team is extremely proud to bring its engineering and mission-support expertise to this effort and to help the Navy deliver capability faster and more reliably.”
The work supports the Naval LOG IT portfolio managed by the Navy’s Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB). The portfolio comprises more than 300 afloat and ashore IT systems and applications serving over 150,000 users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces, including ships, carriers, submarines, U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces.
Naval LOG IT enables essential business operations across the fleet, including:
- Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) at the organizational, intermediate, and depot levels;
- Supply Chain Management (SCM) across all commodity classes;
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) across maritime, aviation, and expeditionary weapon systems and platforms; and
- Platform as a Service (PaaS) for modernized application hosting, data exchange, and integration for afloat, ashore, and expeditionary software applications.
The CMDS award adds to Saalex’s growing portfolio of work across the defense, space, and intelligence markets and reinforces the employee-owned company’s role in strengthening the readiness and modernization of the nation’s armed forces.
