Employee-Owned Integrator Expands into the Heart of the Nation’s Defense and Aerospace Corridor
Huntsville, Ala. (May 28th, 2026) – Saalex Corporation, an Advanced Technology Systems Integrator for the aerospace, defense, and federal sectors, today announced its expansion into Huntsville, Alabama, with a new office that strengthens the employee-owned company’s footprint in one of the most important defense and aerospace markets in the United States.
Known as “Rocket City,” the Huntsville region is home to one of the highest concentrations of degreed engineers per capita in the nation, and a dense defense and aerospace ecosystem anchored by Redstone Arsenal and Cummings Research Park. The area also serves as a hub for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, making it a natural fit for Saalex’s work across the defense, space, and intelligence markets.

Saalex’s move into North Alabama follows growing engagement with Alabama’s congressional leadership. Mack recently met with Congressman Dale Strong, whose Fifth District includes Huntsville, and presented him with a Saalex challenge coin to mark the company’s arrival in the community. Mack also met with House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers to discuss strengthening the nation’s defense industrial base and the role employee-owned companies like Saalex can play in that effort.
