SAALEX SOLUTIONS, INC. CEO WINS VENTURA WORKFORCE AWARD
Camarillo, California – Saalex Solutions, Inc. President and CEO Travis Mack received the 2012 “Champion for Prosperity Award” from the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Ventura County.
The annual award, one of several announced at WIB’s annual meeting held June 28 at the Ventura County Office of Education, is presented to a public entity or a private business for supporting workforce development in Ventura County through job creation and retention. Saalex Solutions’ contribution in that area has been a reflection of its steady rise as a defense contractor.
“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award from the Workforce Investment Board. This award demonstrates the Saalex commitment to Ventura County and providing an outstanding working environment for our workforce.” Mr. Mack says.
Mack, a U.S. Navy veteran, began Saalex Solutions as a small information-technology consulting firm in 1999, mainly providing software support for dotcom commercial ventures. He moved into defense industry work in the early 2000s and now provides engineering and information technology services for such clients as NASA, Northrop Grumman and Naval Base Ventura County and small and medium-sized commercial businesses.
